A Night at the Opera

Saturday 10th May

Time 7.30pm

Thomas Bennett is a long-standing friend of Edington Arts through his involvement with the Music Festival, both as a bass chorister in the Consort and now as Joint Administrator.  His operatic training at the Royal Academy has enabled him to forge close musical relationships with a wide circle of opera singers, from whom he has drawn this quartet.

We will be able to enjoy solos, duets and quartets from operas both famous and beloved, and from some less well-known but equally interesting.  The Priory Church has a particularly generous acoustic for vocal music, and these fine singers are at the top of their game, ably accompanied by the fleet-of finger Edward Picton-Turbervill.

A selection of their wonderful programme is detailed here – more delights are in store on the night!

Tickets £11-£25, 18 and under free. 10% discount for Edington Angels.
