Fundraising Concert by the Wiltshire Council Singers
Friday 6th March
An Evening of Song and Laughter
In 2015, the Wiltshire Council Singers began singing together at lunchtime under the direction of Denise Drew. The singers come from across the council services and now include a number of past and retired employees.
The Wiltshire Council Singers will be joined by The Keevil Singers in Edington Priory Church on 6 March. This four-part choir provides an important and enjoyable function in the life of Keevil village and beyond.
The choirs will perform for a charity concert raising funds for cancer charity Hope for Tomorrow. In the first half, listen to a variety of music, then in the second half join in the singing and laughing to popular songs from the past.
Hope For Tomorrow is a national charity providing local mobile cancer care units that allow patients to save time and energy by having their cancer care closer to home. A unit regularly visits the White Horse Health Centre in Westbury and is an important facility, used by local people.
Tickets are £5, available in advance or on the door, and include a glass of wine or soft drink on arrival.
