Choral Workshop with Chris Bruerton

The latest in our annual choral workshop series goes to Eastern Europe for inspiration, under the expert and lively direction of Chris Bruerton, the current Kings Singers’ first baritone.  He is coming to the Priory Church for the first time, on one of his rare days off from a hectic touring schedule, and he says he’s really looking forward to it.

Over the course of the day we will explore not just Rachmaninov’s Vespers, but music by composers from other Eastern European nations too, in English mostly, except where the text may be familiar in its original language, Latin, for instance.
