Crispian Steele-Perkins, trumpet supremo

The international virtuoso trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins will be accompanied by top-notch organist Ian leGrice in a mixed programme of classical and contemporary music. Handel, Mozart and Haydn through to Goodall and Bacharach – a varied menu delivered to perfection. Crispian will also be demonstrating the techniques used to perform the famous trumpet tunes of the 17th and 18th centuries, when the instrument was very different to the modern valved trumpet.
